PORTFOLIO MANAGER CRE

About the Role As:

My client a leading lender are currently looking to recruit a Portfolio Manager to help assist with their Commercial Real Estate portfolio.

This role will work within the Risk Management Division and provide unrivalled exposure and career growth.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the ongoing management of the existing CRE portfolio.

  • This will be achieved through direct contact with our valued customers to assess their ongoing requirements.

  • You will procure ongoing financial information for the preparation and presentation of credit reviews to Credit Committee along your recommendations.

  • You will be involved in the administration of the commercial real estate portfolio from post-drawdown stage to maturity with a view to ensuring that our expanding loan book remains in good financial health and that financial, operational and legal risks are minimised

  •  Controlling the hand-over from disbursal to live portfolio to ensure accuracy of information through the life of a loan.

  • Liaising with solicitors to ensure legal security is properly executed.

  • Arrears Management in line with Dunning Process and escalation where appropriate.

  • Direct Contact with existing customers for annual documentation requirements and site visits of secured properties, where required,

  • Analysis of financial information for fulfilment of customer covenants.

  • Preparation of Annual Review submissions for presentation to Credit Committee.

  • Identification of maturing loans and communicating in good time with customers to ensure loans are repaid / refinanced promptly.

  • Managing the redemption process including communication with solicitors to prepare redemption figures and legal discharges of security.

  • Preparation of Portfolio M.I. as required for various stakeholders. 

  • Develop a strong knowledge of the business

  • Act at all times with attention to detail and play your part to drive on going improvements.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures and represent the brand and team.

  • Be ambitious to find solutions and have an adaptive and flexible approach.


Requirements for the role:

  • Asset Management experience within CRE

  • Experience – A proven track record in a financial environment essential

  • Qualifications – Third level qualification or QFA /APA would be an advantage.


Salary: 45-55k + Bonus
